I am using Messenger with Communicator 4.77.
I am connected via @Home cable, but my e-mail
is through Catalog.com.
I also use Outlook Express. (I can see this
newsgroup with OE, but not with Messenger.)
When I try to move messages from my Messenger
InBox to a Messenger folder with drag-and-drop,
I get a permanent hourglass. (Left it all night.)
This happens whether I select one message or
all 2000 in my InBox.
When I try with the menu Message->Move option,
it just returns with no error and nothing moved.
If I select another folder, I see the headers for
that folder's messages, but if I reselect InBox
after having moved from it, then I get hourglassed
forever and cannot re-obtain the message headers.
I was trying to post a message via messenger to
this newsgroup, but then I started getting hour-
glassed when I selected the newsgroup and got
"Unable to create empty document" dialogue boxes
when I tried to create a new message to post.
If you see this, then I have successfully brought
up a message composer window and posted, though I
still get permanently hourglassed when I attempt to
see message headers in this newsgroup via Messenger.
Diagnosis? Solutions?
Is this the right newsgroup?
