Cell behavior in tables

The problem:

While typing in a cell, I notice that instead of wrapping to the next 
line when the cursor reaches the edge of the cell, the cell continue to 
expands.  This is a behavior that I don't want.  I want the width of the 
cell to remain the same.  How do I keep the cell width the same?
