While I agree with your opinion that sites should be coded to HTML 
standards, I feel compelled to point out that the above argument is 
invalid.  It takes the form "X is true, and Y is true, therefore X 
caused Y."  A logical fallacy, with some Latin name that I'm not enough 
of an anal retentive nerd to remember.

Anyway, T Carr didn't seem to notice, and doesn't seem to be swayed by 
arguments logical or illogical, so I guess my point is moot.
