I would like to see a setting for Mozilla to find and use old profile and mail data directories.

I would like to see a setting for Mozilla  to find and use  old
profile and mail data directories.  I have all of my stuff on drive E:
. 

I would like Moz to find that stuff and use those directories.  Must
they ONLY search the C drive?
