Christoph,

Mozilla allows you to access both Outlook and Outlook Express 
Address Books directly. This has been available since 0.9.4.

The catch at the moment is that you have to manually edit
the prefs.js file to do this. The UI to enable this is not
yet available. But I would encourage you to check it out. There
is a description in the above bug plus a more detailed description
