fyi, I use Mozilla with the Cyrus IMAP server at CMU using SSL and 
haven't had any problems. So maybe your certificate is the issue. Ask in 
n.p.m.crypto. Can you navigate to any https website that uses the same 
certificate? If you can't then it might be the certificate problem.
