Mail sort order

Hi All,
First is this the right place for questions with nightlies ?

Anyway, I seem to have got the sort order screwed up in my mail folders
I did have messages grouped, and they would display grouped by date
ie although threads are grouped, the groups are in date order
Now they don't seem to be in date order
Any suggestions
this appeared with the 04 Dec build, and doesn't seem to go away if I 
roll back to a previous verions
running on  XP
