No kidding! And when will be that? 2003? We don't care about vaporware
announcements from MS. ..If you believe that, your credibility has been
reduced to minus X ;-)

Oh no! Another bug number obssessed indivvidual like Mike Angelo! In
bugzilla, enhancements, feature requests are also listed as bugs. Small
typos are also considered bugs. And almost every bug reported has other
bugs reported as duplicates. Some bugs have been reported 20 times or
more with diffeerent bug numbers. Go to bugzilla, Pick any bug you want
and follow the follow up posts and you will be amazed about the number
of duplicates. People report the same bug over and over again, assigning
a different bug number every time.

Really? From where did you get that ratio? Can you point us to the
source of that information?

And how is Sun supposed to support the effort? They have been
cooperating with the OJI/Java implementation. I am sure they can do
more, but the same applies to any example you might pick. AOL does not
support the effort? Netscape (therefore AOL) pays for many Mozilla
developers, most hardware and office space. AOL is beta testing Gecko
for Compuserve (over 2 million members) upcoming software. I am sure
they will use Gecko when is stable enough for their flagship service
(AOL 8?) and when it makes sense financially. They have a fiduciary
responsibilty to their shareholders. The reason for their existence,
like any other capitalist corporation, is to make money for thier owners
(shareholders)
