unfortuantely, i dont even know what 'reverse enginnering' is. i just think that mozilla should support the "world's most popular email service" that's all.
thanks for replying anyway.

I highly doubt Mozilla and/or Netscape's version of Mozilla will ever support Hotmail via HTTP. The reason is simple: The Hotmail HTTP interface is proprietary (Microsoft ownz it). I suppose one could spend time reverse engineering it, but why when there a perfectly usable browser interface?
ukmeatisrubbish, Perhaps you want to start work on reverse engineering the Hotmail HTTP interface?

I really think it's about time mozilla mail supports http mail. I currently use the dreaded hotmail and would like to switch but i get too many messages into that account so i currently can't. and then my outlook express (which i hate anyway) has crashed so i'm finally using mzoilla mail but have to go to the horrible new 3d look hotmail in my browser every single time now which is a real pain.
Therefore, i hope that any mozilla developers reading this will incorporate http mail into mozilla mail asap.
thanks. :)
