If you really want to install a "Web-Server" then there is nothing better than a up-to-date configured Linux Machine with the Apache Web Server on it. Okay, you "can" install the components Apache, PHP, Perl for example also on Windows, but most users I know did'nt make any good experiences with it. And if you want to learn "something new" (!), then you have to test out Linux, even if it's at first in a dualboot system :-) > My question is "What *free* Windows based email servers are worthwhile > (and which should I stay away from) AND will work great with Mozilla > 0.9.6"? In our company we wanted also to give our intranet such a mailsystem for mails interior. But we just found very costintensive products. > As far as the web server portion, I think I will try BadBlue PE along > with DNS2Go, although I understand Jana Server is an all in one solution. > > Any input, suggestions or feedback, yeah or neah, would be *greatly* > appreciated. Just try out Linux. If you search for a web-server a unix-derivate is the best you can use! Best regards Martin -- Martin Rhricht [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.rohrbold.de
