Hi Barney,

I think that you have a good point there. However, I always completely
uninstall the previous version before installing the new one since
Netscape's earliest days (1.1b3 if I recall correctly). Then I replace
the new and empty mail files with the previous version's mail files and
keep going. I was thinking that doing this with Mozilla builds will
someday cause a headache. But Mozilla does not have an option to import
its own mail files. Outlook Express, Outlook and Eudora are the only
options. I doesn't let me export them to another format to import back,
either.

I did NOT have this problem from the build 0.9.0 through 0.9.6.
Everything was very smooth despite the horror stories I have been
reading in Netscape and Mozilla newsgroups and I was thinking that I was
doing the right thing. The source of the problem could be that or
something else, but I still can not figure it out. Perhaps, if someone
could tell me how to import the previous version's mail files into a
brand new installation, that would be the remedy.

Thanks,
AC
