Have you tried to run that message through Composer, or viewing its Source to look for any hidden HTML, ActiveX, scriptlets etc.? Also, I've the same problem with a spam mail I was curious about (source) and couldn't just hit Shift -Del and be done with it because when I opened it, it opened in another window.
I have my view set to two on top, body below. I changed to another plain text email and then closed the bottom window (dragged the little bar in the middle frame separater all the way down). Then I did a CTRL-ALT-DEL and shut down the other window, L-clicked once on the offending email to highlight it in my list, which couldn't open, because, on open, I suspect it ran a OnFocus or OnOpen or some such. I hit SHIFT-DEL and it was history. Can't say as this will work in 6 . I run the older reliable 4.78 I'll wait til they come out with V7 which means 6 will be pretty bug-free :) And Microsoft STILL hasn't got DOS working right ;) S.
