Now after installing the 2-Feb build, my system doesn't even have a 
mapi32.dll file - anywhere. Only the 5KB one that I backed up from the 
previous occurrence of this problem.

& no, I've not set MOZ as my default mail tool at all since the original 
post in this thread.
