Whats wrong with mozilla? What errors are you getting. Use a nightly for the feature. Moz 0.9.8 doesn't have it. Also Mozilla does not have nsnotify type separate applocation but a systray icon when there is new mail. You can get the latest nightly from ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/.
