YOu need to enable SSL.  As I don't beleive FreeAgent supports 
SSL, you need to run an SSL tunnel, like STUNNEL.  It asct kind 
of like an SSL proxy between FreeAGent and SSL servers.

There are instructions on how to set it up for other programs, 
but they work for any client:
