I got a feeling that the mail-news component of mozilla is more focused on U.I. rather than as a reliable record (ie, message) browser.
If you have ever used the BROWSE command in Foxpro (or say the Recordset in VBasic), you should understand what I meant. Mozilla's mail-news doesn't seem to use the same concept. >>properly, esp the mail-news component.
