I'm running
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020313
My problem is with NNTP authentication. Our news server which is INN
2.3.0 requires user authentication and works over SSL. It's configured
so that authentication is not mandatory (admins say that it's because it
may be necessary to read some groups without authentication in the future).
So server doesn't request auth (i.e. there's no 480 response from
server) and there's no way to 'push' my credentials to the server (like
Outlook does if 'My server requires me to logon' check-box enabled).
Any clue?
