Thirty-three-year-old Robert Lynn Sandford died last week while awaiting trial and the Washington County, Ohio coroner now says poison was found in his body. Final toxicology results from his autopsy will be known in about a month. Sandford, a former Ohio University computer engineer, had been charged with using the school's computers to store and transmit child pornography. On a recent episode of "The Happy Show," producer Charles Perkins portrayed a reformed pimp by the name of "White Chocolate" who dressed as a nun and talked about sex with callers. Timothy Woodland had claimed the sex was consensual, but witness testimony and circumstantial evidence supported the woman's story. "It is nothing but rape and the crime is horrendous," said the presiding judge, Soichi Hayashida, in his verdict. Police say Lopez had already put duct tape over her mouth and was trying to to remove her pants when the cat took a swipe at him, enabling the girl to break free and escape. Lopez was charged with kidnapping, child enticement and criminal sexual conduct. Defense experts compared John Robin Sharpe's "Kiddie Kink Classics" depicting sadomasochistic sex between men and young boys to the works of the Marquis de Sade. The judge found Sharpe not guilty on charges related to his stories but convicted him for possessing 400 pictures of young boys in sexual poses.
