Please tell me why not.  I have been posting to newsgroups for several 
years and no one has ever told me that.  As my previous message 
stated, that is the only way that I know to check the spelling in a 
reply without having the checker go through all of the preceding 
message(s).

I used to be able to bottom post using a spell checker that started at 
the cursor position, but it does not work in Mozilla or NS6.x.

By the way, where, if anywhere, do the spell checkers in Mozilla and 
NS6.22 (I know they are not the same) record additions to the lexicon?
