Sending and receiving the email will not access port 80, that is 
correct. But I believe Joseph is talking about *viewing* an HTML message 
which contains an <img src="http://some.web.server/myimage.gif";> tag. 
That *will* cause the mail application to access port 80 in order to 
retrieve the image.
