you should use secnews.netscape.com

you don't have to place the data there. I used "my documents" all the
time. don't take the upgrade wizard's profiles. delete them all and
re-create them. make sure the profile's root is c:\my document. makes
thing a lot easier to manage.

first and foremost: back up your old files
suggest you delete *.snm (old index) in the data folders and let mozilla
rebuild the index (*.msf). the real mail file is sent, not sent.snm.
