Actually, moving multiple messages from an IMAP server to a local folder does not work if the IMAP server uses a folder separator other than '/' (or '\').
This condition lives in <http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154928>, where the bug is identified and an easy fix is proposed, but nobody cares to even confirm the bug.
