My Netscape 6.2.3 Mail on WinXP Pro is giving the following error message occasionally, presumably when it receives mail, but i don't know about this last part.
Here's the message: "Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox." As far as I can tell, none of my mail folder files are read-only when I view their properties in My Computer. The directories themselves (Mail, mail.server.com, Inbox.sbd, News, news.server.com, etc.) have squares in Read Only (as opposed to check marks), but it seems that every time I clear it, it's back the next time around. I have 20GB or so free space, so that's not the problem. Any ideas? -joel
