Following phoenix (http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/browser/README.html) and chimera (http://chimera.mozdev.org/), I've started the minotaur project. See http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/minotaur/index.html for more details.
Put this project together with altmail (http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/altmail/index.html) and you'd get mozilla, with browser in one process and mail/news in the other. -Seth
