use of NC:ispinfo rdf grammar to import accounts

hi all,

has anybody used the ispinfo rdf file, based under:

src:mozilla/mailnews/base/ispdata/example.rdf

to import mail accounts into mozilla?

if so how can this be done? - there is not much documentation available :(
