Any one seen this behaviour?? Now and again when I open the SMTP settings dialogue i can close the SMTP box but cant close the main preferences window, it just sits there. It will only close by using the 'x' button.
Another weird one is periodically it refuses to connect to the SMTP server. It throws up an authentication box but once the pw is entered it just throws it back up again. Switching to Outlook (urghh) allows me to send mail proving both the server and settings are ok. Sometimes after an hour or so it will suddenly start working sometimes it requires a pc and router reboot. During all of this though the POP system still works and I get incoming mail no prob ! I had a look at bugzilla but couldn't see anything similar. Trouble is I cant reproduce this one at will so I don t know if it is a Moz prob or some part of my OS (Win2k) or hardware. Anyone seen this?? H
