You can't really compare the UI between the 4.x and the
Mozilla browsers... though they tried to get the Classic
skin to look pretty close.  I'm not sure offhand what
color they are querying for the highlight bar on the pop-up
menu, so that's something that could be looked into.

Oh, I understand what you are talking about now... when you
actually click on the link, it changes color while the mouse
button is pressed.  This might be a difference in the settings
for the "default" colors when the webpage itself doesn't
specify the color of the links.  Those colors don't come from
a system scheme.

Yes.  The entire user interface is coded in XUL, and it is
rendered by the browser engine just like a web page.
