The "this good" was a typo and should read "this could be"
The SDD/SE drivers are the IBM Special Edition (SE) of the
Scitech Device Docter (SDD) video drivers.
The SDD drivers use a GRADD video driver environment to load
a video driver module that supports a number of video cards. The
cards are recognized at boot and the appropriate hardware driver
is automatically selected without intervention on the part of the
computer user. You can switch video cards without re-installing
the driver.

Sorry I was replying to the poster who remarked that they were having
a problem with the nVidia TNT2 GRADD driver (which is not SDD)
In any case have you (the thread starter) tried the beta 39 SDD
drivers?
There were also some fixes in fixpak 15 for Warp 4 that applied to
PMMERGE problems and image corruption... that I believe were
happening when a GRADD based driver was in use.
