Since y'all announced ssl support, I thought I'd try a couple of things.
It's been my habit over the last few years to initially check out the
level of encryption using https://www.fortify.net/sslcheck.html
As Fortify is an obsoleted product due to changes in US Federal export
regulations, they have (rightly) allowed their ssl cert to expire. The
browser should tell me this, and then give me the option whether to proceed
or not.
0.9.0 and 0.9.1 bring up the warning dialogue, but do not allow me to
proceed or cancel - I can examine the certificate, though. We're missing
some buttons here.
Once I discovered this, I started my secure server, which uses a self-signed
certificate. This is appropriate because I only use the local server for
testing purposes anyway. (It's probably the only Secure Goserve in existance,
too :P )
Once again, the browser should inform me that it doesn't know the Certifying
Authority, and allow me, the user, to choose whether ot not to proceed.
Once again, 0.9.0 and 0.9.1 only let me examine the 'unusual' cert.
I'm sure y'all would get around to this sooner or later...
