Here, below are in short form - my experience related to 0.9.3 build.
1. At beginning, I unzip 0.9.3 over 0.9.2 installation. Try launch
0.9.3 - after 2 seconds presence of splash screen, it disappear, and
nothing happens. In other words - every start of Mozilla ends with
appl. exit without any trap, or other visual signs.
2. So I delete Mozilla subdirectory (where preferences for users
reside). Now I have dialog for import settings from NS4. Pressing
Convert Profile cause after 1 sec processing exit without any trap or
message - like above. However "registry.dat" file appear in profiles
subdirectory. I You need I can upload it for You.
3. So I try using Profile migration for migrate my setting from
NS4.61. During migration process, it ends in the middle without any
trap - same way like in step2.
3. Next I try use Profile management for create 2 different profiles.
Well - if created profile has different name than "Default Profile" -
Mozilla ends like in case1 (see beginning of this post). With "Default
Profile" works - so manually entering config is only solution....
4. Closing any window related to Mozilla (prefs dialog, mail client,
2nd browser window, etc) cause trap:
