I think I found a possible cause of hangs/traps at the splash screen. Please check your LANG environment variable and post its contents here.
If Mozilla doesn't understand it, it hangs or crashes. While we are working on this problem, you can set your LANG environment variable to en_US before starting Warpzilla to prevent the problem. Mike Kaply IBM
