Now that you're pointing at it... yes, this is certainly a 'feature' 
the Mozilla designer should re-discuss, as especially for big 
downloads (100MB and greater) on a network (!) drive the temporary 
(=local) drive must provide the same space as the target directory. 
What I don't need to tell you: on Windows machines the copying 
procedure hooks up a PII-350 completely for several minutes ;-)
