I'm not sure what you mean by tiled windows in a browser context. Loading "about:blank" should kill anything attached to the page it replaces in the browser window into which it's loaded, i.e. all frames, iframes, objects, applets etc. It won't affect any new windows created by the page, though it may be possible to find and close them with a bit of JavaScript in an enhanced about:blank. h~
