I'm sure there is an explanation for this. FYI, on my Athlon 1200 at home, Warpzilla loads in 5 seconds flat under Warp Server for e-business. This is with HPFS386, 20 MB cache, on a Seagate Cheetah X15 15000 rpm Ultra160 SCSI 36 GB hard drive on a Tekram DC390 U3W controller. I don't have Windows on that box so I can't compare the startup time, but the Warpzilla startup time is finally satisfactory. And no, I don't have quicklaunch enabled. FYI I used to have a 10,000 rpm Ultra160 drive - which is hardly slow - and the startup time was about 10 seconds It appears that disk I/O performance makes a huge difference in the program loading speed.
