Last version I've seen is 0.9.7..

Not an issue currently since the plugins mostly don't work.

I think there are some shortcomings in this area, but I'm not
knowledgeable about this particular subject.

Legally? There may be other sources, but I'm not aware of them.

The later versions work ok, but some ancillary updating of other
software may be necessary (as you suggest). Al Savage has a very
excellent webpage which spells out what needs to be adjusted (I'm
sorry, I don't have access to my OS/2 bookmarks at the moment, but you
can find him by posting in the comp.os.os2.apps newsgroup).

Can't help here, Java is next on my list to mess with..

There are only a couple plugins that work.. Flash and Acrobat Reader
do wrok, apparently, and all you need to do is to drag the dlls from
the Netscape plugins folder to the Mozilla plugins folder. The files
to look for are: npswf2.dll and nppdfos2.dll.
