i have got autoconf executing locally within sh.exe . 'autoconf --help' produces proper output. 'autoconf' produces my error 'Autoconf requires GNU m4 1.1 or later'. 'm4 --help' produces blank line so its in the environment but not responding. there is only 1 m4.exe on system . still trying to work this out.
somehow autoconf is not responding to the m4 proggy correctly. autoconf v2.13 is off the ibm ftp site as instructed by os2 setup page. m4 is v 1.4 any pointers appreciated. eric...
