That's my point:  I __have__ to intervene (if Opera crashed).

Today's Mozilla does not attempt to restart -- so I don't have
to remember why its previous incarnation stopped;  nor do I
__NEED__ to intervene in order to get it to a state where
I can use it to access a new site.

[I also have SET RESTARTOBJECTS=STARTUPFOLDERSONLY,REBOOTONLY
 in my config.sys -- I figured out long ago that for me, having
 previously open OS/2 sessions restart "automatically" after an
 OS/2 shutdown could cause trouble to be repeated.]
