The new 0.9.8 (2002020417) release constantly reach 100% cpu usage here. It does this almost immediatly after launching (i.e., before the first window opens).
It's a clean install, with no predefined MOZILLA_HOME environment variable. On first launch, it makes the profile migration window hard to use. On subsequent launch, it makes using mozilla 0.9.8 a pain too :( The "good" news is that the 100% cpu usage does not block the input queue, and hence switching to other applications and such is responsive and works well, as does killing (or closing) mozilla. I did not try the "-turbo" switch as reported by someone here, but I will tonight. I did try using mozillla without the WPS, to aleviate possible conflicts, to no effects. I did try using other components too (i.e., just the news part), to no effects either. The previous release build (0.9.7) was working just fine. Here is some setup infos: k6/2 350 256 Mb of ram Matrox mystique (driver v2.54.130), running at 1152*864*64k OS/2 Warp 4, French version, fixpak 9 (FR too) "plain" tcpip stack (4.00e) Hope this helps, -- Martin Lafaix <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Team OS/2 http://lafaix.online.fr
