I was using 9.7 ok but when I tried to go to 9.8 I had a "hang" . Actually the cpu usage graph went to 100% and all actions slowed to a crawl. A few details: I deleted the entire bin sub tree and unziped the 9.8. Mozilla hangs when it gets to the point whare it would talk anout making profiles. Now I had much the same problem when I went from 9.6 to 9.7. I resolved this by starting from the beginning. IE I deleted the icon and the entire warpzilla tree. I applied the instill material and then did a 9.7 upgrade. All was ok. I tried the same gambit with 9.8 ie a re initial install and upgrade to 9.8. This and any other fooling around did not work. Is the the same as what this thread is about?
