This constitutes several reasons why I still use 2.02 for most email. In
2.02, choosing to send later is sticky, which means once set, the send
button means put in the outbox, rather than send now. I don't need to
dig into a menu to not send messages immediately. I don't need to "go
offline". Once sent, I can easily take a look and see if I like the
result, and edit or delete it when I don't.
OTOH, several Mozilla bugs hinder or block me from using it routinely:
Block:
4302 PgUp/PgDn in editor don't move caret/cursor (platform differences)
118672 Network Unavailable Popup Unnecessary When Online But Modem Not
118899 Time Zone Never Displayed Within Message Headers
137018 Incorrect Time Display For Posts While Daylight Savings Time
Hinder:
21344 Location toolbar (menu of mail folders and newsgroups)
54911 News article gets sent to the right news group but on the wrong
server
129052 Incoming Mail Notification Should Be Like Netscape 3
132477 Can't Post News to Open Server
134333 Show Body Pane Switch Hides Message Body With XUL
134635 Selected Message Scrolls Out of View After Sort Change
135964 View -> Messages Change Deselects Displayed Message
Can't decide which:
109935 Mozilla message quoting should be more like Netscape 4.x
