Aha! Finally, I've got a case that will do it 100% of the time, all the
time on my system.

Thinkpad 770X, 256MB RAM (PII-300).
MCP1 + FP2 + NO desktop enhancers whatsoever
Mozilla Release Test 1 (RC4?) with very latest Java 1.3.1 (not
configured as default JVM)

Here is the procedure (read through first, not everything is
step-by-step). I have tried to reduce what is necessary but I haven't
done it all (takes too long to start Warpzilla each time).

1) Start Warpzilla don't use turbo.
2) On the first page (which I set to blank), enter this URL:
<http://www.theregus.com/content/3/25130.html>
3) Down the page, there is a link which reads "an entertaining and
knockabout history of his Xbox activities here"
Click on this with the MIDDLE mouse button to load the page in a
NEW TAB in the BACKGROUND. So, you must have all 3 features enabled.
4) Back on the first page (which you should still be viewing), go up to
the URL and enter this: <www.autosport.com> go immediately to the next step.
5) As soon as you have typed the URL above, click on the new tab with
the Xbox story. You have to do this fast, because AUTOSPORT starts up
some Java applet in the background, else you'll be busy on that page.
Keep reading before you try this...
6) On the new page, click the scroll bar quickly a few times. At least
on my system, (because Java starting) it bogs down a bit and the
Tasklist pops up. Close the tasklist.
7) Good, wait a while until the Autosport page finished loading (watch
the indicator on the tab and your hard drive lights).
8) Click on the URL entry field (you should still be viewing the Xbox story)

If all goes well, nothing happens. You are stuck. Congratulations.

To "fix" this, open up your Mail & News window and type in the "Subject
or Sender contains" field (it still works). Now go back to the URL field
and you can type again.

Please try this and let me know if it's repeatable!

Thanks,
Isaac
