Everything is on HPFS.

What I am finding out is that after a hard reboot (reset because c-a-d didn't
work) because of a hang, chkdsk "wiped" out these files.  I can sort of under
stand the history file being open and trashed if the system crashes, but I
haven't added a bookmark in ages, so even though it has been opened by
Mozilla, it should not have been rewritten at all and therefore wouldn't have
a allocation error to correct that causes the file to be effectively empty.

Also, in the original case, I was able to close Mozilla with alt-f/x, so both
the bookmark and history files should have been successfully rewritten.
