Even after going back to the original 1.1b I found (using Process Commander) that I had a zombie thread running, which PC was able to kill. Too often, however, I have forgotten to check for the presence of this zombie thread before trying to restart Mozilla, and the result is that the only way to restart Mozilla is to shut down the machine and start over because the process hangs while "processing exitlist". Sometimes Mozilla hangs while processing exitlist even without trying to exit: certain Web sites cause Mozille to hang, and that is what PC shows me.
What causes this zombie thread, and can the problem please be solved? -=- Alan
