Thank you for the tip. This gave me a hint. I had forgotten that TrackPoint of my IBM ScrollPoint mouse does handle 3-dimensional (up/down, left/right and push!) operation. Now, I can close tabs by pushing the TrackPoint instead of chord. Of course it works on 1.1 with almost same comfort as I used to have. -- Achain
