I just downloaded & installed 20020922 and now find that when I attempt to save the preferences, I get a pop-up stating that they couldn't be saved. When I check the profile, I find a prefs.bak file, but no prefs.js. When I then exit Moz, the prefs.bak is erased, but the prefs.js file indeed isn't created.
Does anyone have a clue what is going on here? I tried creating a new profile, but that didn't help the situation. I have no idea how to proceed or why moz can't create the prefs.js file. Regards, Gordon
