I think there have been some checkins involving prefs. I see some differences in the available prefs settings. I just went back to 0917 hoping to get past the prefs.js saving trouble, and my prefs backup from 0922 didn't work. I went all the way back to the 1.1 final and the prefs.js backup from right before that to fix it. Searched for and found no bug on point.
