I've written several apps for OS/2 over the years and I've never had to touch the config.sys or os2.ini with the exception of the case where one app needs to load a device driver. Getting the info an app needs and storing changable info that an app needs is possible with alternate solutions. Mike, I'm not trying to stir you up and I certainly appreciate the work you are doing. I'm simply asking you to entertain the use of alternatives. Nick
