After renaming \WarpZilla\PlugIns\NPOS2AUD.DLL to NG_NPOS2AUD.DLL those emails 
in question now load normally.
But of course this can be only a temporary solution.

Does anybody have any idea what's going on and why Mozila thinks he has to 
start some Multimedia stuff at all from Mail/News?

Why is he additionally ignoring the Preferences settings *not* to use plugins 
in Mail/News?

And finally, why does he get confused in the first place by headers like:
