Sorry, but I've trouble to follow what you try to tell me, because I don't see
any 'Next' button on Google's results page :-/

The Sidebar's Search tab 'Next' button only seems to become active, when
'within "All Engines"' is selected. Then my 'Search Results' window shows 10
links found by Google (my only active search engine for this selection).
The main window tab shows the regular Google search result window with f.e. 3
additional link pages, accessable through the arrow to the right of "Google"
or "Vorwrts" (don't know the word if displayed in english: forward?, next? )
to the rigt of the additional serch result pages, at the bottom of the page.
Now back in the Sidebar, clicking on the accessable 'Next' button below the
'Search Resultss' window, brings up:
<http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&field0-0-0=product&type0-0-0=allwordssubstr&value0-0-0=resistor+1w+15+carbon+91k&field0-0-1=component&type0-0-1=allwordssubstr&value0-0-1=resistor+1w+15+carbon+91k&field0-0-2=short_desc&type0-0-2=allwordssubstr&value0-0-2=resistor+1w+15+carbon+91k&field0-0-3=status_whiteboard&type0-0-3=allwordssubstr&value0-0-3=resistor+1w+15+carbon+91k&bugidtype=include&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time>

And that's, what I'm really confuseed about.
BTW, my derfault search engine for the 'Search' button next to the throbber
thingy, also is Google.

Aaaahhh, I see, the browser's URL bar and Compose's address lines only seem to
behave differently, because in the text entered there usually are no blanks
involved ;-)

no, what I mean is on the Sidebar's Search tab the pulldown menu right to
'within', directly under the input field for the search string.
If I select there "Web" or "Mozilla" and press the 'Search' button above to
the right, I get the max of 10 previously found links displayed in the "Search
Results' window, if this was blanked before (changing the selection of this
"within" pulldown menu to "All engines" and then back to either Mozilla or
Web) and that's all. No change it main window tab to the search results or
anything else to be noticed.

Oooops, this became quite a lengthy reply ;-)
