I was not a participant in the discussion quoted above, but I *am*
feeling my finger joints get stiffer and my hand muscles get weaker.

To me, the physical effort involved in drawing a perfect horizontal
line causes LESS ache than the physical effort involved in clicking
the button.  [I use a large-diameter trackball instead of a mouse --
it seems inefficient for me to have to move (using my *large* muscles)
my entire hand just in order to move a *tiny* crosshair on my screen.]

Surely there are other personal preferences that are also not provided
for.  I disagree that providing a user-interface checkbox for *this*
preference should be a priority for the people doing the Mozilla port.
